Due to the freezing rain across the District early this morning, there will be a two hour delay for all schools in ASD-N today, Wednesday, December 11th.
School buildings will only be opening two hours later than usual. Bus runs will be operating two hours later than usual. Please do not drop off your children at school before this time as there will be no one on site.Â
The ASD-N ICE Centre entered year 6 of operations this school year. This semester there are 8 ICE Centre courses happening with students from all 8 high schools across our district.
Through a partnership with the Office of First Nations Education (OFNE) the ICE Centre is offering an Advanced Welding course in Natoaganeg and Advanced Electrical course in Elsipogtog. The Intro to Nursing & Healthcare course is being offered in Miramichi, Bathurst and Campbellton. Miramichi area schools are also able to enroll in the Intro to Aviation course or the Heavy Construction course being offered through a partnership with NBCC. In Campbellton students also have the opportunity to enroll in the Intro to Teaching & Education course this semester.
